A Little Bit About Me
I’m passionate about both music and photography, and this website is where I share some of the moments, places, people, and adventures that inspire me most.
Having recently relocated to the beautiful seaside town of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, I’m now surrounded by endless photographic opportunities from dramatic coastal skies and sailing regattas to the timeless charm of the Suffolk shoreline.
Photography has become a huge part of my life, and I’m proud to be an active member of both Cambridge Camera Club and Saffron Walden Camera Club. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive several awards, including the Tony Sweet Founders Cup and the Saffron Plate in 2018, as well as top places in competitions such as the Cambridge Camera Club Monochrome DPI competition. In 2023, I was honoured to win the Creative Cup Trophy at Saffron Walden Camera Club, and in 2026 I was delighted to win the Mayor’s Cup once again at the SWCC Exhibition.
Sailing has always been in the family blood, and I especially love photographing classic yachts, racing yachts, and life around Aldeburgh Yacht Club. There’s something magical about varnished wood, billowing sails, and the ever-changing light on the water. Some of my images have appeared in publications including Yachts & Yachting, Classic Boat, and Yachting Monthly. One particular highlight was when 1 Sail asked to display one of my photographs from the homepage in their meeting room. I’m also keen to continue supporting the AYC Schools Sailing Trust by sharing more images from the local sailing community.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me making music. I play flute and piccolo with the Cambridge Sinfonietta Orchestra and Walden Winds, and I’m also a pianist. I love performing, teaching, and sharing music with friends and family.
